WARNING
The vibration and noise emission level given in this information sheet has been measured in accordance with a standardized test
given in EN 62841 and may be used to compare one tool with another. It may be used for a preliminary assessment of exposure.
The declared vibration and noise emission level represents the main applications of the tool. However if the tool is used for diff erent
applications, with diff erent accessories or poorly maintained, the vibration and noise emission may diff er. This may signifi cantly
increase the exposure level over the total working period.
An estimation of the level of exposure to vibration and noise should also take into account the times when the tool is switched off or
when it is running but not actually doing the job. This may signifi cantly reduce the exposure level over the total working period.
Identify additional safety measures to protect the operator from the eff ects of vibration and/or noise such as: maintain the tool and
the accessories, keep the hands warm, organization of work patterns.
WARNING Read all safety warnings, instructions,
illustrations and specifi cations provided with this power
tool. Failure to follow all instructions listed below may result in
electric shock, fi re and/or serious injury.
Save all warnings and instructions for future reference.
DIAMOND DRILL SAFETY WARNINGS
When performing drilling that requires the use of water,
route the water away from the operator's work area or use
a liquid collection device. Such precautionary measures
keep the operator's work dry and reduce the risk of electrical
shock.
Operate power tool by insulated grasping surfaces, when
performing an operation where the cutting accessory may
contact hidden wiring or its own cord. Cutting accessory
contacting a "live" wire may make exposed metal parts of the
power tool "live" and could give the operator an electric shock.
Wear hearing protection when diamond drilling. Exposure
to noise can cause hearing loss.
When the bit is jammed, stop the applying downward
pressure and turn off the tool. Investigate and take
corrective actions to eliminate the cause of the bit jamming.
When restarting a diamond drill in the workpiece check
that the bit rotates freely before starting. If the bit is
jammed, it may not start, may overload the tool, or may cause
the diamond drill to release from the workpiece.
When securing the drill stand with anchors and fasteners
to the workpiece, ensure that the anchoring used is
capable of holding and restraining the machine during

use. If the workpiece is weak or porous, the anchor may pull
out causing the drill stand to release from the workpiece.
When securing the drill stand with a vacuum pad to the
workpiece, install the pad on a smooth, clean, non-porous
surface. Do not secure to laminated surfaces such as tiles
and composite coating. If the workpiece is not smooth, fl at
or well affi xed, the pad may pull away from the workpiece
Ensure there is suffi cient vaccum before and during
drilling. If the vacuum is insuffi cient, the pad may release
from the workpiece.
Never perform drilling with the machine secured by the
vacuum pad only, except when drilling downwards. If the
vaccum is lost, the pad will release from the workpiece.
When drilling through walls or ceilings, ensure to protect
persons and the work area on the other side. The bit may
extend through the hole or the core may fall out on the other
side.
Do not use this tool for overhead drilling with water
supply. Water entering the power tool will increase the risk of
electric shock.
Additional safety warnings for hand-held drilling
Brace the tool properly before use. This tool produces a
high output torque and without properly bracing the tool during
operation, loss of control may occur resulting in personal
injury.
Use auxiliary handle(s), if supplied with the tool. Loss of
control can cause personal injury.
ADDITIONAL SAFETY AND WORKING INSTRUCTIONS
When coring through fl oors, cores generally drop from the bit.
Provide proper protection for people and property below the
coring area.
The built-in friction clutch only reacts to jerky locking, which is
why you should always use the additional handle.
Use protective equipment. Always wear safety glasses when
working with the machine. The use of protective clothing is
recommended, such as dust mask, protective gloves, sturdy
non-slip footwear, helmet and ear defenders.
The dust produced when using this tool may be harmful to
health. Do not inhale the dust. Wear a suitable dust protection
mask.
Do not machine any materials that present a danger to health
(e.g. asbestos).
Switch the device off immediately if the insertion tool stalls! Do
not switch the device on again while the insertion tool is
stalled, as doing so could trigger a sudden recoil with a high
reactive force. Determine why the insertion tool stalled and
rectify this, paying heed to the safety instructions.
The possible causes may be:
• it is tilted in the workpiece to be machined
• it has pierced through the material to be machined
• the power tool is overloaded
Do not reach into the machine while it is running.
The insertion tool may become hot during use.
WARNING! Danger of burns
• when changing tools
• when setting the device down
Chips and splinters must not be removed while the machine is
running.
When working in walls ceiling, or fl oor, take care to avoid
electric cables and gas or waterpipes.
Remove the battery pack before starting any work on the
machine.
When working with large drill diameters, the auxiliary handle
must be fastened in a right angle with the main handle (see
illustrations, section "Twisting the handle").
Do not store the battery pack together with metal objects
(short circuit risk).
Use only System MXF chargers for charging System MXF
battery packs. Do not use battery packs from other systems.
Never break open battery packs and chargers and store only
in dry rooms. Keep dry at all times.
Battery acid may leak from damaged batteries under extreme
load or extreme temperatures. In case of contact with battery
acid wash it off immediately with soap and water. In case of
eye contact rinse thoroughly for at least 10 minutes and
immediately seek medical attention.
Warning! To reduce the risk of fi re, personal injury, and
product damage due to a short circuit, never immerse your
tool, battery pack or charger in fl uid or allow a fl uid to fl ow
inside them. Corrosive or conductive fl uids, such as seawater,
certain industrial chemicals, and bleach or bleach containing
products, etc., can cause a short circuit.
WARNING This device contains a lithium
button/coin cell battery. A new or used battery
can cause severe internal burns and lead to
death in as little as 2 hours if swallowed or enters
the body. Always secure the battery cover. If it
does not close securely, stop using the device, remove the
batteries, and keep it away from children. If you think batteries
may have been swallowed or entered the body, seek
immediate medical attention.
SPECIFIED CONDITIONS OF USE
The machine is intended for dry drilling in brick and tile and
wet drilling in concrete.
Do not use this product in any other way as stated for normal
use.

COMMAND CENTER
The command center provides feedback during coring,
allowing you to help prevent motor overload and premature
core drill bit wear.
Digital Level
Use the digital level to ensure the hole
is level throughout the operation. Use
the digital level to properly align the core
drill during handheld use, or when
installing into a core drill stand.
Performance Indicator

More pressure
The performance indicator provides pressure feedback. The
LEDs will light up one by one as pressure is applied to the
core drill bit Increase or decrease pressure on the core drill bit
to reach the green "ideal pressure".
NOTE: Green "Ideal Pressure" is best obtained using a core
drill stand. Most handheld applications will result in yellow
"OK" or green "Good" pressures.
When using new diamond core drill bits, follow manufacturer's
instructions for breaking them in.
