The safety instructions are to be read
before preparation, operation, repair,
maintenance and replacement of
accessories on the device and before
working in the vicinity of the device and
must be understood.If this is not the case, the
outcome could be severe bodily injuries.

The device should only be set up, adjusted or
used by appropriately qualified and trained
operators.

The device must not be modified. Modifications
can reduce the effectiveness of the safety precau-
tions and increase the risk for the operator.

Never use damaged devices.

The device must be subject to regular inspections
to check that the device is labelled with the
necessary clearly legible measurement valves
and marks. The employer/operator must contact
the manufacturer to obtain the necessary replace-
ment labels.

Always align the cables so that they lead away
from the machine from the rear.

Before carrying out any work on the device,
when taking a break or when not in use, switch
off the main motor switch.

When mounting the saw band, observe the
cutting direction.

Make sure that all equipment covering the saw
band works flawlessly.

Always clamp the workpiece firmly in the vice.
Do not attempt to process very small workpieces,
as they cannot be properly secured in the vice.

Brace large workpieces to prevent them from
falling out of the vice. Do not let personnel hold
the workpiece. Improper securing of the work-
piece might cause the saw band to jam or tear.
Clamp irregularly shaped workpieces so that
they cannot slip out of position. Otherwise the
saw band may jam or tear.
Only clamp / release the workpiece when the
saw band is standing still and moved away from
the workpiece.
Do not switch on the device if the saw band is
touching the workpiece. Always first start the saw
and then place the saw band on the workpiece.
Immediately switch off the device if the saw band
is blocked or torn.
After cutting, always swivel the device away from
the workpiece with the saw band running.
Adjust the stop so as to prevent the sawn-off
workpiece from jamming on it. Otherwise the
saw band may jam or tear.
Always keep the cutting area free from ma-
chining chips and residues.
Never reach into the cutting range with your
hands or using objects while the device is
switched on.
All repairs to the device must be carried
out by qualified specialist personnel and
with original spare parts only. This ensures
continuous device safety.
Only use original Würth accessories and
spare parts.
