USE

Starting up the engine

In case of battery failure or a bump start, the correct operation of vehicle and the regulation respect in force are not
guaranteed.
Exhaust fumes contain carbon monoxide, an extremely harmful substance if inhaled.
Never start the engine in a closed or insufficiently ventilated space.
Failure to observe this warning could lead to unconsciousness and even death to choking.
CAUTION
With side stand lowered, the engine may only be started with the gearbox in neutral position.
If you attempt to engage a gear in this condition, the engine will stop.
With side stand retracted, the engine may be started with the gearbox in neutral or with gear engaged and clutch
lever pulled.

1. Get onto the bike in the riding position.
2. Make sure the stand has been completely retracted and that the engine
stop button [A] is in position
