The data capture process runs in the background. All
eBUS participants found are queried cyclically. It there-
fore takes a while for the values to be displayed. You can
now start recording data or editing the configuration of
a device.
h Note!
Save the read out configuration on the hard
drive first before changing it. In this way you
can reset the initial settings at any time.
You can find advice on the ideal procedure in the online
help.

Online help

vrDIALOG/2 and vrDIALOG 810/2 have an extensive on-
line help with a description on how to operate the pro-
gramme. You can call up the online help either via the
help menu or context-sensitively via the F1 button. You
then directly receive the desired information on the pro-
gramme item currently displayed.

Remedy
Check whether the USB
adapter is displayed as func-
tioning device in the device
manager. Try to reinstall the
USB driver if an exclamation
mark is behind the entry.
Check the cable connection
between the eBUS partici-
pant and computer first. Re-
place the cable if it is defec-
tive.
Start the automatic search
for a communication inter-
face (refer to the section ti-
tled "First programme
start").
Replace the USB adapter.
