5. Repeat the assembly procedure from point
1 to point 4 and for the other 3 bolts and tie rods.
6. Manually check the tightening of all 4 bolts
on the back of the generator.
7. Tighten the nuts with the cross pattern
(see Fig. 12 and 13 of the tightening sequence) and
gradually increase the tightening torque:
Use a torque wrench.
Follow the following steps:
 60 Nm*
* For this step, you can use
pneumatic wrenches by ensuring
that the tightening torque does not exceed 68 Nm.
 90 Nm (value of the final tightening torque)
 90 Nm (tightening torque control)
 90 Nm (tightening torque control)
8. Check the final protrusion *** of the tire rod on
the SAE flange side, it must not exceed 2.2 mm,
as shown in Fig. 14

7. VOLTAGE REGULATOR

7.1 Rheostat for remote voltage regulation

Such rheostat can be inserted on all generators, between terminals P-Q (FAST-ON terminals) of the auxiliary
terminal board of the regulators.
The external potentionmeter must be inserted with the cursor in an intermediate position, thus acting on the
