ENGLISH
The column distributor Ref. 1083/53 is designed for
the 2Voice system. It is used to split an apartment
station column into several backbones (max. 2) or
to connect several independent columns (max. 32)
in the system. It can manage one column or up to
two calling stations directly connected to it.
The column distributor Ref. 1083/53 is equal to a
column interface Ref. 1083/50 if there are up to 2
backbones in the column.
For more information, refer to the system booklet
supplied with the power supply Ref. 1083/20A.
IMPORTANT!
All information on the column interface Ref.
1083/50 (number of users, distances, extensions,
dip switch confi guration, etc.) also apply to column
distributor Ref. 1083/53 with the exception of the
following constraints:
The column distributor Ref. 1083/53 may be
replaced by a column interface Ref. 1083/50 if
there are up to 2 backbones in the system on
the column (LINE 1 and LINE 2).
It is not possible to use the additional functions
related to the AUX terminals on the column
interface Ref. 1083/50 (e.g. staircase lighting).
The column distributor Ref. 1083/53 excludes
and inserts line terminations through the
Jumper Z.
INSTALLATION
The column distributor may be installed in an
electrical panel on a DIN bar (it occupies four 18 mm
DIN modules) or wall-mounted using screws and
anchor bolts (not included).
The terminal boards can be accessed when the
electric panel is open.
