Battery charge level
WARNING:
If the batteries are not charged before you use the
Allen® Advance Table, the Allen® Advance
Table may not function in an emergency situation.
Patient fall or injury could occur.
When the Battery Charge Level indicator shows a low level of charge or if
you hear a "beep" from the Allen® Advance Table when you try to use the
pendant controls, plug the Allen® Advance Table into an applicable power
outlet to charge the batteries. To keep the batteries charged, plug the Allen®
Advance Table into an outlet nightly and when you store the Allen®
Advance Table.
NOTE:
A "beep" from the Allen® Advance Table lets you know that the
battery charge level is low or depleted.
NOTE:
When the Allen® Advance Table is not plugged in: the Battery Charge
Level indicator will be on when the On/Off switch is on; the Battery
Charge Level indicator will be off when the On/Off switch is off.
Potential Equalization Conductor
There is a plug on the Allen® Advance Table
for you to connect an equipotential bonding
cable. This will equalize any potential
difference when the Allen® Advance Table is
to be used with a patient who has intravenous,
cardiac, or other medical equipment.
Lock and Unlock the Brakes
CAUTION:
Do not press the lock control while the Allen® Advance Table is being
moved. Equipment damage could occur.
•
Lock—press and hold the lock control until the locked
indicator on the display is green.
•
Unlock—press and hold the key control as
you press the unlock control until the
unlocked indicator on the display is orange.
When the brakes are locked, the locked indicator on the
display is green; when the brakes are not locked, the
unlocked indicator is orange.
