BIOS Setup
This
mainboard comes with
a
chip
fro m
Award BIOS that contains the ROM
Setup information
for
your system. (This chip serves as an interface between
the p rocessor and the rest of the mainboard component s.) This section ex-
plains the information cont ained in t he Setup p rogram and tells you how to
modify the settings according to your system configuration.
CMOS Setup Utility
The Setup utility program allows updates to the mainboard configuration set-
tings. The BIOS setup values will be saved in the CMOS. It is executed when
you change the system configuration, you change the system backup battery,
or the s ystem detects a config uration error an d asks you to run t he Setup
prog ram. Us e the arrow keys to select, and press Enter to run th e selected
program.
