8. Decommissioning
¶
Disconnect the Mastertech II VCI from the
power supply.
8.1

Temporary shutdown

For an extended period of non-use:

Disconnect the Mastertech II VCI from
the power supply.
8.2

Changing location

¶
If the Mastertech II VCI is transferred to
another user, transfer all documentation
included in the scope of delivery as well.
¶
The Mastertech II VCI must only be
transported in the original or equivalent
packaging.
¶
Read and follow the instructions con-
cerning initial commissioning.
¶
Disconnect the electrical port.
8.3 Disposal
Mastertech II VCI, accesso-
ries and packaging must be
recycled in an environmentally
friendly manner.
e Do not dispose of the
Mastertech II VCI in general
trash.
Only for EC countries:
The Mastertech II VCI is sub-
ject to the European directive
2012/19/EU (WEEE).
Dispose of used electrical and
electronic devices, including
cables, accessories and batte-
ries, separately from household
waste.

Make use of the local return
and collection systems for
disposal.
e
Proper disposal prevents
environmental pollution and
health hazards.
