2. While holding the pad against the rim, adjust the grade of protuberance of the pad by inserting the
position of the B washers (i.e. 6 mm and 3 mm) so that the dimension A is kept to 39mm or more.

3. While holding the pad against the rim, tighten
the pad locknut.
5. Calibrate the adjustable spring bolts.

4. Pass the inner cable through the inner Noodle.
Place the cable leaving a space of 1mm between each
brake pad and the rim, tighten the cable locknut.

6. Low the brake lever about 10 times the height of
the wrist, to check that everything is working prop-
erly and that the pad clearance is correct before us-
ing the brakes.
