3.4.2 Make a recess on side cover panel
A recess must be made in both side covers for the connecting
hose from the pump return line to the overflow valve and the
connecting hose from the overflow valve to the pressure gauge.
Sequence:
1. Mark the position and dimension of the recesses as shown
in Fig. 9 on both sides of the cover panel.
2. Cut out the recesses.
3. An edge protector is included in the delivery specification.
This you should then fit to the metal edge of the recess just
made.

3.4.3 Mounting overflow control valve
Sequence:
1. Fit the connecting hose to the overflow control valve (see
Fig. 10).
2. Mount the angle bracket to the overflow control valve.

3. Mount the overflow control valve with the angle bracket to the
test bench frame.
4. Route the connecting hoses Pos. 1 and Pos. 2 through the
recesses (see Fig. 11).
5. Fit the connecting hose Pos. 1 to the manometer connection
for low pressure (250 kPa).
6. The connection hose Pos. 2 is connected to the pump return
line.
7. The connecting hose Pos. 3 is slid into the test-oil tank.
i In order to perform the CP3 pump test, the return line
must be connected to the overflow connection of the
KMA (see Installation Instructions 1 689 978 452). The
components required for connection and fitting are
contained in the set of special accessories for
CP3 pumps (1 687 010 135).
