Cabinet Location
CAUTION: Do not mount cabinets near a heat
source (for example, a heat lamp or light fixture).
When selecting the cabinet location, note the following:
■
There must be at least a 1" (25.4 mm) clearance
between the top of the faucet spout and the bottom
of the cabinet door and at least 6" (152.4 mm)
clearance from the top of the cabinet door to the
ceiling (see Figure B).
■
Power for the cabinet should be provided
separately from the optional cabinet lights so
that when lights are turned off, the electrical
power to the cabinet remains on.
■
Note the recess mounting depth if you are
recess mounting the
3 ¾" (95.25 mm) deep
■
Be sure that there is enough
the door above the rough opening
(see Figure B).
Removing the Cold Storage Unit
Remove the cold storage unit from the cabinet base
before installing the cabinet:
1. Disconnect the Power Connector as shown in Figure
M on page 9.
2. Remove the four screws on the electrical box plate
(see Figure M on page 9).
3. Loosen the thumbscrew inside the electrical box (see
Figure M on page 9).
4. Remove the screws on the bottom, outside of the
cabinet that secures the unit to the base cabinet (see
Figure C).
5. Slide the cold storage unit out of the cabinet.
