2.4 REGULATING HOOD WIDTH

Hood width is regulated by moving screws n.2 (fig.1-2) in the holes for the
cultivating width you want.
Do this operation on both sides of the hood.

2.5 REGULATING CULTIVATING WIDTH

The exact layout of the hoes and their mounts for the different cultivation widths
for "Rotary Cultivator 22" is shown in the following figures: 670mm (fig.5);
560mm (fig.6); 450mm (fig.7); 800mm (fig.8).
For the "22M Rotary Cultivator" the exact layout is illustrated in the following
figures: 800mm (fig.9); 670mm (fig.10); 450mm, only as an optional (fig.11).

3. MAINTENANCE

After the first work hours, and periodically thereafter, it is good operating practice
to check to be certain that the hoes are firmly retained in their mountings to
prevent any loose screws from being sheared off.
If hoes are bent during work, cold straighten then so as not to prejudice the heat
treatment used on the cutters.

3.1 CHANGING THE OIL IN THE BEVEL GEAR

Change the oil after approx. 800 work hours.
To change to oil, remove plug n.3 (fig.1-2) and tip the machine over until all the
oil drains outs.
Fill with about 500 g of new oil.
It is advisable to use AGIP ROTRA MP SAE 80W/90 oil.
The oil level can be checked through this same plug n.3 with the dipstick. The
cultivator should be horizontal.

When ordering spare parts from our Parts Division, always specify:
