2) DESCRIPTION
2.1) General description
The Origo™ Feed 302 wire feeders are designed for semi-automatic MIG/MAG welding with solid wires,
tubular and aluminium in services of average production. They have a progressive wire mechanism of 2
feed rollers engaged and a eletronic control system.
They can be installed on the power source, hanged on the workplace with appropriate hangers or on a
wheels to move it around the workplace (optional). According to the model it has several functions, please
see the technical characteristics.

4) CONTROLS
4.1) Front panel
1) Knob for setting wire feed speed.
2) Knob for setting the voltage.
3) Digital voltmeter/ ampermeter. To display the welding voltage and current. After the welding it maintains
the set values shown on the display. (optional in the P1/P2).

5) Burnback - Burnback time is a delay between the time when the wire starts to brake until the time when
the power source switches off the welding voltage.Too short burnback time results in a long wire stickout
after completion of welding, with a risk of the wire being caught in the solidifying weld pool. Too long a
burnback time results in a shorter stickout, with increased risk of the arc striking back to the contact tip.
