Mounting the electronics module

Note
Incorrect handling can result in damage to the electronics module.
S Never push the electronics module into the interlinking block when powered.
Note
S Make sure that the interlinking block (

S Check the seals for damage to maintain the protection class IP65/IP67.
S Ensure clean connecting surfaces to optimise the sealing effect and avoid
contact errors.
Note
S Use only screws with metric threads for the metal interlinking block

S To avoid thread damage, set the screws exactly and use the existing threads.
S Tighten the screws only by hand with a screwdriver.
S In the push-in fitting, avoid any distortion and mechanical stresses.
S Also observe the mounting instructions in the documentation supplied with
modules and components subsequently ordered.
When mounting:
1. Switch off the operating and load voltage supplies.
2. Orient the electronics module 3 in the correct position and push it carefully
into the interlinking block 6 (
3. Check the seal and sealing surfaces, align the connection block 1 or 2 in the
right position and place it onto the electronics module 3.
4. Set the screws aJ so the existing threads can be used. Tighten the screws by
hand in diagonally opposite sequence.
