General information
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be
followed. PLEASE READ AND SAVE ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THE
ELECTRIC HANDHELD SLICER.
1. To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse power cord or plug in
water or any other liquid. This is an electrical appliance. To avoid the risk of
electrical shock or serious personal injury, always operate with dry hands.
2. Never leave the slicer connected to the power outlet when not in use.
3. Never pull the power cord to remove from outlet.
4. Do not use the slicer for other than intended use. Do not use outdoors. For
household use only.
5. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is being used by or near
children. This slicer is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
the use of the slicer by a person responsible for their safety.
6. Unplug the slicer from the electrical outlet when not in use, before cleaning,
and before putting on or taking off the attachments.
7. If slicer stops due to improper operation or if there is excessive noise, turn
power off, unplug from electrical outlet. DO NOT open the main base to
repair. Return appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for
examination, repair or electrical or mechanical adjustment.
8. Do not operate the slicer with a damaged power cord or plug or after the
appliance malfunctions or is dropped or damaged in any manner.
9. Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of a table or counter or touch
any hot surface.
10. Always operate your slicer on a flat, dry, stable surface.
11. The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the manufacturer
may result in fire, electrical shock, or risk of injury.
12. Never use your hands to push the food through the food chute. Always use
the food pusher.
13. Do not place slicer on or near hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
14. Make sure the slicer is OFF before plugging the power supply cord into the
wall outlet. To disconnect the slicer, switch to OFF before removing the plug
from the wall outlet. NEVER leave the slicer connected to the power outlet
when not in use.
