Only use mild cleaning and disinfecting agents composed of alcohol, allow the unit to dry completely
inside and outside before placing it back into operation.
•
Do not use alkaline solutions, corrosive or abrasive substances, methanol, amines, technical solvents,
organic compounds, methyl methacrylate and methacrylic acid methyl ester.
•
When cleaning, be sure to avoid scratching the unit – especially inside the reflector chamber.
•
Do not use pointed, sharp or abrasive objects to clean the unit.
•
Remove soiling completely but gently.
NOTE
Scratches or soiling on the reflecting surfaces in the chamber reduce the efficiency of the irradiation and
reduce LED performance. Insufficient or inhomogeneous polymerization may result.

Maintenance / repair
WARNING
Unit functionality is only guaranteed with original Kulzer replacement parts. Using replacement parts of
unknown origin is prohibited.
The following parts can be replaced by the end user:

Power cable
•
Fuses (see section 12 'Technical details')
•
Rotating plate
WARNING
There are no maintenance or service-relevant components inside the unit for the user/customer.
Therefore, opening the housing is not necessary and prohibited for the user/customer. For repairs that
involve opening the unit, it must be sent to the manufacturer. Please contact the responsible country
branch or the regional Kulzer Service Partner. See section 14 'Service'.

Disposal
Recyclable materials are used to manufacture the cara Print LEDcure. These do not present any particular or
unusual dangers for disposal. Kulzer GmbH is naturally willing to go beyond its legal obligations and take back
used devices. The device is designed for a service life of approx. 8 years.
Disposal of old equipment according to WEEE
Electrical- and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG)
This Act sets out requirements for electrical and electronic equipment pursuant to directive 2012/19/EC issued
by the European Parliament and the European Council. Its main purpose is to prevent waste from electrical
and electronic equipment and to promote reuse, recycling and other forms of recovery to reduce both the
volume of waste for disposal and the inclusion in waste of harmful substances from electrical and electronic
equipment.
For detailed information on professional disposal of disused old devices, contact your dealer or
Kulzer subsidiary in your country.
CAUTION
Marked equipment must not be brought to local waste disposal centers.
