For Your Safety

Hazardless working with this unit is only
feasible if you read the operating manual and
safety instructions completely (red print) and
follow the instructions included therein.
Danger of injury!
The unit may only be used with a chip
deflector (hand protection).
The unit should not be damp and should also
not be operated in damp conditions.
In principle plug sockets must be equipped
with fault current circuit breakers. Questions
should be addressed to your electrician.
Inspect the unit, cable and plug before each
use.
Damaged parts should only be repaired by a
technical expert.
Always wear protective goggles, hea-
ring protection, protective gloves and
compact footwear when working.
• Do not plug in the unit unless the machine is
turned off. Pull out the mains plug after use.
• Remove the plug from the socket before carrying
out any work on the machine. Never carry the unit
by the cable.
• Always guide the cable back away from the unit.
• Use only original TRUMPF accessories.

Before initial use

1.
Read the chapter on safety.
2.
Check whether the installed cutters are
suitable for the material that is to be
machined. For high-tensile sheets (> 400
N/mm²) special cutters should be used!
3.
Turn or replace blunt cutters.
4.
Check whether the cutting clearance is
suitable for the sheet thickness that is to be
machined.
5.
The mains voltage must correspond to the
specifications on the machine type plate.
