Cutting clearance

Cutter clearance "a" is preset for a sheet thickness of
2.0 mm when the machine is delivered. The following
values produce optimal
machining sheets that are thinner or thicker than
2.0 mm:
Sheet thickness:
0.3 - 0.8 mm
0.8 - 1.3 mm
1.3 - 1.8 mm
1.8 - 2.5 mm
Adjusting the cutting clearance
•
Pull the plug out of the socket.
•
Ensure that the top cutter (moving cutter blade) is
in lower dead position (by turning the eccentric
shaft).
•
Loosen the bottom cutter and adjust it to the
correct distance using the adjusting screw (19).
Retighten the cutter and screw in the adjusting
screw (19) slightly. Check the distance using the
setting gauge.
Warning! The cutters must not touch each other.

Maintenance
Remove the plug from the socket before
carrying out any work on the machine!
Vents
Keep the unit and the vents clean.
Cutter guide l u b r i c a t i o n
The cutter guide must only be lubricated after repairs.
Original grease:
Gear/gear head l u b r i c a t i o n
Gear grease must only be refilled or changed after
repairs but no later, however, than after 300 hours of
operation.

Changing carbon brushes
The machine will stop if the brushes are worn.
Carbon brush replacement and all other repair work is
to be carried out by an expert!
Repairs
Electric tools conform to the applicable
safety regulations. Repairs may only be
carried out by qualified electricians in order
to prevent unnecessary accidents.
Use only original spare parts
Please note the specifications on the output plate.
