pick-ups is too wide.
The left pick-up is not connected or defective.
Err 8
The right pick-up is not connected or defective.

toelectronic system.
The weight is out of adjustment field
Err 17
(the suitable weight to balance the
wheel is higher than 250 grams).
The wheel data have not been set up.
Err 18
The signal at the entry of the right pick-up is
Err 19
less intense than the one of the left pick-up.
The brake pedal has been pressed

during the measure.
The rotation speed of the engine is irregular.
Err 20
The electronic board has detected a dan-

gerous situation because of the extreme-
ly high speed of the wheel during a phase
of inaction (the shaft turns at a high
speed without the start of the opera-
tor): the power electric part is disabled.
Irregular signals of the optoelectronic board.
Err 22
The gauge for the measure of the dis-

Causes and possible solutions
Verify that the weight for each calibra-
+
tion has been applied in a correct way.
+
Verify the position of the machine: maybe it
is not stable and it vibrates too much.
+
If the problem persists even after fixing the ma-
chine correctly, check the connection of the de-
tectors and of the electronic board.
+
Substitute the pick-ups. (chapter 8.1 and chapter 8.4.1).
+
If the problem persists after changing the pick-
ups, substitute the board. (chapter 9).
Check and substitute the left pick-up. (chap-
ter 8.1 and chapter 8.4.1).
Check and substitute the right pick-up. (chap-
ter 8.1 and chapter 8.4.1).
+
Verify the connection of the optoelectronic board.
+
Verify that the optoelectronic board is protected by
the environment light and cover it if necessary.
+
If the imperfection persists, check and, if necessary, sub-
stitute the optoelectronic board. (chapter 8.2).
Check the electrical part, see the wiring diagram N. 654144.
+
Check that the wheel has been fixed correctly on the flange.
+
Search for the external position (anyway), ap-
ply a 100 grams weight and launch again.
+
If the problem persists, do the calibration again. (chapter 7).
+
Set up the wheel data before making the measure launch.
+
Check that the gauges are enabled. (chapter 6).
+
Maybe you inverted the connection of the two pick-ups: Check
(and change if necessary) the connection of the two pick-ups.
+
Substitute the pick-ups. (chapter 8.1 and chapter 8.4.1).
Do not press the brake pedal when the engine is on.
+
Be careful not to hit the machine during the measure cycle.
+
Check the net tension. See the wiring diagram N. 654144.
+
Check the engine (chapter 8.3).
+
Turn off the machine, push down the protecting carter and
then turn on the machine without moving the wheel: if the
problem persists, you need to check or substitute the elec-
tronic part: board (chapter 9) or encoder (chapter 8.2).
+
Verify that the optoelectronic board is protected by
the environment light and cover it if necessary.
+
If the imperfection persists, check and, if necessary, sub-
stitute the optoelectronic board. (chapter 8.2).
+
Check and, if necessary, substitute the electron-
ic board of the control panel (chapter 9).
+
Verify that the gauge is in rest position.
+
Check the analog value at 5. (chapter 8.4.4).
+
Repeat the calibration of gauges.
Press one button at a time.
Check and, if necessary, substitute the electron-
ic board of the control panel (chapter 9).
