13 Design requirements
13. 1 General requirements and manufacturer's
declarations
13. 1 . 1 The VACIE shall comply with the design
requirements of this clause, where relevant to the
technology used. Some requirements can be
verified by testing. Others can only be verified by
inspection of the design and its accompanying
documentation because of the impracticability of
testing all of the possible combinations of functions
and of establishing the long-term reliability of the
VACIE.
13. 1 .2 In order to assist the process of design
inspection, the manufacturer shall declare the
following in writing:
a that the design has been carried out in
accordance with a quality management system
which incorporates a set of rules for the design
of all elements of the VACIE;
b that the components of the VACIE have been
selected for the intended purpose and are
expected to operate within their specification
when the environmental conditions outside the
cabinet of the VACIE comply with Class 3k5 of
EN 60721-3-3:1995 + A2:1997.
13.2 Documentation
13.2.1 The manufacturer shall prepare installation
and user documentation which shall be submitted to
the testing authority together with the VACIE. This
shall comprise at least the following:
a a general description of the equipment,
including a list of
1 the optional functions with requirements of
this European Standard,
2 the functions relating to other parts of EN
54, and
3 the ancillary functions not required by this
European Standard;
b technical specifications of the inputs and
outputs of the VACIE, sufficient to permit an
assessment of the mechanical, electrical, and
software compatibility with other components of
the system (e.g. as described in EN 54-1),
including where relevant
1 the power requirements for recommended
operation,
2 the maximum number of voice alarm zones,
3 information concerning the connection of
emergency microphones,

El departamento de desarrollo de Bosch Security Systems
responsable del desarrollo/mantenimiento del sistema Praesideo,
trabaja según su propio proceso de desarrollo, Standard
Development Process o SDP, creado utilizando el modelo CMMI.
El SDP implementa todas las áreas de proceso a nivel de madurez
2 del modelo CMMI y algunas áreas de proceso a nivel de
madurez 3 del modelo CMMI.
Las normas para el diseño de todos los elementos del sistema
Praesideo pueden encontrarse en el repositorio SDP. En el
repositorio SDP se encuentran todas las descripciones de
procesos, documentos de implementación de procesos, plantillas,
directrices, etc. de los procesos de desarrollo.
El repositorio SDP es un sistema de control de versión.
Los componentes del sistema Praesideo funcionan dentro de sus

(clase 3k5 de EN 60721-3-3:1995 + A2:1997). Esto se verifica
mediante pruebas y se documenta en los informes de pruebas. Los
racks de 19" para Praesideo forman parte del sistema y están
sujetos a certificación. Debe seleccionarse un rack de la lista de
racks aprobados para este fin.
Praesideo es conforme.
El manual de uso e instalación de Praesideo (IUI) se proporciona
en varios archivos pdf en el DVD que contiene el software para
instalación y configuración. El IUI también puede descargarse de
la Extranet.
El IUI contiene una descripción general del sistema Praesideo.
Incluye una lista de comprobación EN54-16, con una lista de las
funciones opcionales soportadas.
Describe todas las funciones de Praesideo relativas a la EN54-16
o cualquier otra.
Consulte esta lista de comprobación, cláusula 4. 1 .1.
Las entradas y salidas para audio y control se describen en el IUI,
incluyendo los datos técnicos, funciones del sistema,
instrucciones de configuración, conformidad con normas. Esto

La interfaz abierta se describe en las 'Instrucciones de
programación de la interfaz abierta' (OIPI). Este documento
siempre se entrega junto con el sistema Praesideo como un
archivo pdf en el DVD de distribución. Este documento ofrece
suficiente información para que otros programadores creen
aplicaciones para controlar o mostrar las funciones de Praesideo.
