5.5 Bringing the OXYMAT 3
back into service
If the OXYMAT 3 has been out of service for
over 6 months, a functional check (see "7.
Functional Check" page 106) and an oxygen
concentration measurement must be per-
formed by an authorized dealer before the
device is brought back into service.
5.6 Tips
•
Weinmann supply a range of portable
oxygen therapy devices as a reserve for
home use, e.g. in the event of power fail-
ure.

For those who need an oxygen supply
when on the move, Weinmann offer the
OXYTRON 3 Mobil, which enables you
to be away from home for a consider-
able period of time without having to in-
terrupt your oxygen therapy. Ask your
doctor or authorized dealer about this
possibility.
•
The 20-meter connecting hose
the OXYMAT 3 and the dosage monitor
makes for great freedom of movement within
the home. The dosage monitor can be
attached directly to the OXYMAT 3, but it is
more convenient to have it with you
wherever you are. This means you only
need to carry the dosage monitor to where
you want it, leaving the OXYMAT 3 stand-
ing in one place all the time.
