Pressure differences
The pressures of the cold and hot water connec-
tions must be balanced.
Operation
The mixer is activated by lifting the lever handle.

Temperature limitation

The temperature is limited by the safety check
to 38° C (100° F). If a higher temperature is
required, it is possible to override the safety stop
by depressing the safety button.
Adjustment (see page 10)
Correction is necessary if the temperature mea-
sured at the take off point differs from the tem-
perature set on the scale. To adjust temperature
proceed as follows:
Turn the setting knob until water at a temperature
of 38° C comes out of the outlet. Loosen screw of
setting knob. Remove setting knob and turn to the
38° C position. Attach setting knob again and
tighten the screw.

The desired maximum temperature for example
max. 42° C can be pre-set thanks to the safety
function.

Flow heater
Applicable for flow heaters at min. 24 kW and
0,15 MPa flow pressure before the Shower panel
and a minimum through flow of 7 l/minute. Only
one consumer possible, not two simultaneously.
Maintenance
The non return valves (22) must be checked regu-
larly according to DIN EN 1717 in accordance
with national or regional regulations (at least once
a year).
At this time, please also check the filter (14) situa-
ted on the MTC-ther-moelement (14). After assem-
bling the MTC-thermo-element, it is necessary to
check the water temperature at the take off point
as described under the headline „adjustment".
Before the adjustment, please check, if the warm
water supply is activated and the maximum tempe-
rature of the warm water is available at the take
off point.
To guarantee the smooth running of the thermostat,
it is necessary from time to time to turn the thermo-
stat from total hot to total cold.
