3 - fitting the ISOFIX guides (optional)
The ISOFIX guides can help identify the vehicle ISOFIX anchor points and make
installation easier. They can also help with the protection of your vehicle seat.
To fit, insert the two ISOFIX guides and hook them onto the vehicle ISOFIX anchor points.

4 - adjusting the height of the headrest

Lift the lever (a) on the back of the headrest to raise (b) or lower (c) the headrest.
Release the button when the headrest is in the desired position.
5 - seating your child into the car seat harness - (Group 1
mode: 9 - 18kg) - 1
Loosen the harness by pushing the adjuster button (a) in as you pull the harness straps
(b) forward as much as possible.
IMPORTANT: Pull the harness UNDER the chest pads. DO NOT
pull on the chest pads.
Unfasten the harness buckle by pressing the red button (c) and releasing the clips (d) and
open out the belts (e).
Place your child in the child car seat.
Fit the harness around your child and fasten the harness buckle by joining the clips (f)
and pushing them both into the buckle (g).
6 - seating your child into the car seat harness - (Group 1
mode: 9 - 18kg) - 2
Check that the harness is not twisted. Pull the harness up (a) to tighten the lap
sections which is designed to fit low down on your child's body.
Pull the adjuster strap forward (b) making sure the harness is a comfortable but FIRM fit
around your child.
Finally, pull both chest pads down (c) from your child's shoulders onto their chest.
NOTE: The chest pads are an important safety feature. Never use
the child car seat without them.
7 - adjusting the shoulder strap position - 1
The harness must fit level with the top of your child's shoulders. It must not fit above or
below the shoulder line. (Refer to step 6).
8 - adjusting the shoulder strap position - 2
NOTE: Raising the headrest will make the upper shoulder strap
slots more accessible (See Step 4).
To move the shoulder strap from one slot to another loosen the harness by pushing the
adjuster button (a) in as you pull under the shoulder straps forward as much as possible (b).
