Pull the end of the tether strap firmly (i) until the indicator on the adjuster turns green
(j). The tether strap is now correctly tensioned.
For hatchback and estate vehicles refit the parcel shelf.
13 - removing the child car seat from the vehicle - ISOFIX
Squeeze the tether strap adjuster (a) and pull the tether strap out (b).
Unclip the tether clip from the ISOFIX anchor point by pushing on the spring loaded catch
(c) and pulling the tether clip clear (d).
Pull the ISOFIX arm handle (e) and pull the child car seat back from the
vehicle seat (f).
Push the release lever on each ISOFIX arm until the indicator turns red (g) then pull the
child car seat away from the vehicle seat.
Pull the ISOFIX arm handle again and push the ISOFIX arms back into the child car
seat (h).

Loosen the harness (a & b).
At the back of the child car seat, unclip the chest pad strap (c) and the shoulder straps
(d) from their connectors.
Feed the strap ends through the seat until they are clear of the cover (e) and remove the
upper seat liner (f).
Pull the chest pads off the shoulder straps (g).
Remove the lower liner (h) & crotch pad (i) from around harness.
At the rear of the child car seat release the fabric fastener (j) and the poppers (k), three
on each side.

Pull the child seat cover off from around the seat (a) and armrests (b).
Push the adjuster strap through the slot in the child seat cover (c).
Push the waist straps through the slot in the child seat cover (d).
Push the harness buckle through the slot in the child seat cover (e).
Remove the cover completely from the child car seat.
Place the waist strap clips (f) and the buckle (g) into the cutouts in the child car seat base.
Press the harness adjuster button then pull the harness connecter at the rear of the child
car seat until the adjuster strap end is against the adjuster button (h).
Push the shoulder straps through highest slots in the back of the child car seat (i) and
refit the strap ends to the connector behind the seat (j).
Lift the headrest as high as it will go. Pull the tether straps forward (k) and slide the
straps off the retaining clips (l). Pull the tether straps out from behind the backrest.
