1. Feeding cable: to connect to the main power (110/220 V)
2. ON/ OFF Switch: to turn on and turn off the cooling unit.
3. Pilot lamp: when it is turned on indicates that the cooling unit is on.
4. Water output connection for torch.
5. Water input connection for torch.
6. Socket for connection of the pressure switch.
7. Water tank.
8. Voltage switch to 110 or 220 V.
5) INSTALLATION
5.1) Receiving the Equipment
At receiving a WC8 cooling unit, remove all the packaging material around the unit and check for possible
damages that could have happened during transport. Any complaints related to transport damage should
be directed to the Transport Company.
Remove carefully all and any material which can stop the passage of the air flow that will interfere with the
cooling capacity.
N.B.: In case a WC8 is not installed immediately, keep it in its original
packaging or store it in a dry and well ventilated place.
5.2) Connecting the unit to the equipment
1) Select the voltage to 110 or 220V (check the main power voltage).
2) Fill in the tank with water and fluid according to item 5.4 up to the MAX. mark of the unit.
3) Connect the water input and output of the torch.
4) Connect the pressure switch to the equipment (if needed) using the connection cable.
5) Turn the equipment on through the ON/OFF switch.
5.3) Electric input
The WC8 cooling unit is supplied connected to 220V. To connect it to 110V, alternate the voltage switch
positioning (check the main power voltage).
5.4) Water tank
The WC8 is delivered with the tank empty and with a 3,2l gallon in order to make the mixture. The mixture
should be done with a proportion of 40% of coolant (cooling fluid) and 60% of water. Just put all the packing
content and complete it with water.
N.B.: use only the recommended fluid. To obtain the fluid, when needed,
request it using the P/N specified in the table 8.1.
