5.8 Operation with two Secretion Jars
Secretion jars can be hung left and right on the Control Unit. When the first Secretion Jar is full, the
Vacuum Pump must be turned off and the connection tubes attached to the second Secretion Jar
before operation can be resumed.
Even after closing, some liquid will still run into the Jar, subject to the negative
pressure remaining in the system.
5.9 Function Control
After the Vacuson 60LP has been set up, check the different operation functions in order to receive
optimum performance and service from the device.
General Function:
Press "ON/OFF" Mains Switch to start the unit Switch "ON/OFF" will illuminate.

Infiltration Pump, Suction Pump and Electronicmotor should start only by pressing the Mains
Switch, without operating the Floor Pedal.
3)
Both Fans on the left and right side of the unit will run.
Infiltration Pump:
1)
Turn Pump Regulator ("PUMP") on the Control Unit to the right (adjust infiltration maximum
speed).
2)
Push Foot Pedal down to start Infiltration Pump.
With the Foot Pedal, Infiltration speed can be variably controlled Pump runs faster when Foot

Pedal is pressed.
4)
Press Foot Pedal completely and vary Infiltration speed with Pump Regulator "PUMP" (on
Control Unit) Pump runs faster when Pump Regulator is turned right.
5)
Turn Pump Regulator "PUMP" back to right.

Suction Pump and Suction Interruption
1)
Press Foot Button "VACUUM" (blue) to switch Pump on.
Keep hand in front of the Air Exhauster "EXHAUST" (Control Unit back panel) Air Flow

exhausts.
Turn Vacuum Regulator "VACUUM" left Maximum Suction Output.
3)
Verify Suction Intensity on Cannula's end Pump suction increases.
4)
Press Valve Button on Hand grip Air will be aspirated by the valve.
5)
Verify Suction Intensity on Cannula's end nonexistent intake pressure.

Release Valve Button on Hand grip.
Turn Vacuum Regulator "VACUUM" right Minimum Suction Output.

Verify Suction Intensity on Cannula's end Pump suction decreases.
9)
10) Foot Button "VACUUM" (blue) switches Suction Pump OFF.

Electronicmotor:
Foot Button "MOTOR" (yellow) switches Electronicmotor ON Vibration movement on Suction
Cannula.
