OPERATION
EN
Switch on:
1.
Before switching on the appliance for first time, make sure that the
boiler is properly connected to the power supply network and full with
water.
The boiler is switched on by a switch integrated into the installation,
described in item 3.2 of Section V, or upon connecting the plug to the
electrical contact (in the case of an extension cable with plug).
Water heaters with electromechanical control

switch)
2 - Light indicator
3 - Regulator handle (only for models with adjustable thermostat)
4 - Button indicating the status of the magnesium anode protector
(only for models with a tester)
5 - Light indicator showing the status (operation) of the anode
protector (only for models with a tester).
When there is in-built in switch in the water heater, you must
switch it on.
Electrical switch with one knob:
0 – switched off;
I – switched on;
The knob lit when the switch is on.
The control lamp on the panel indicates the state (the mode) in which
the appliance is placed: it is lit when the water is being heated and is
switched off when the specified by the thermostat water temperature
level is reached.
Electrical switch with two knobs:
0 - switched off;
I; II- switched on;
Choosing of different power levels of heating:
Rated power (marked on the
rating label)
1600 W
2000 W
2400 W
The buttons of the switch lit on, if they are switched on and during
heating. They stops to lit when the preset temperature of the water is
reached and the thermostat switch-off the voltage supply.
The control lamp lit on when there is supply voltage from electrical
main. It does not lit on when there is not supply voltage or the thermal
cut-out (temperature protection) is switched off (see 4 below).
Temperature setup (for models with adjustable thermostat):
This setup allows the gradual setting of the desired temperature,
achieved by using a handle on the control panel.
Operation mode selection for models displayed on Fig.2b or Fig.2c:
Four positions indicate different operation modes of the device:
ANTI-FREEZE MODE.
With this setup the device maintains temperature that does not allow
the water freeze in it. The electrical supply of the appliance should
be turned on and so must be the appliance. The safety valve and the
pipe between the valve and the appliance must be protected from
freezing. In case that for some reason the electrical supply is cut off,
there is a risk of freezing of the water in the water tank. For this reason

we recommend draining the water out of the appliance before long
absences (longer than a week).
SUMMER MODE.
This setup is suitable for the summer season. And is characterized
with lower maximum temperatures for heating the waters secures an
economic working regime for the appliance.
e
ENERGY-SAVE MODE.
At this mode, water temperature reaches up to approximately 60°С.
Heat losses are reduced in this way.
WINTER MODE.
This setup is suitable for the winter season and is characterized with
high maximum temperatures for heating the water in the appliance.
This mode secures maximum quantity of water with comfortable
temperature.
Fig. 2a indicates the direction of rotation of the knob for the other
models with externally adjustable thermostat.
IMPORTANT: Models that do not have thermostat control
knobs have automatic water temperature preset by the
manufacturer (fig.2d).
ANODE TESTER - (with models, having an integrated tester).
3.
This facility serves for the identification of the current state of
magnesium anode and indicates the need for its replacement. The
anode tester is secured with button 4 and light indication 5 next to it
(Fig.2a, 2b).
The state of the anode protector can be controlled by pressing button
4. When the illuminating indicator, besides it is lit in a blinking GREEN
color, this means that the ANODE PROTECTOR functions in a normal,
usual mode and protects your appliance from corrosion. When the
illuminating indicator is lit with a blinking RED color, this means that
the ANODE PROTECTOR is worn out and should be replaced.
IMPORTANT: The changing of the anode protector is done by a
qualified technician.
The anode tester is able to read correctly the state of the
anode protector only when the temperature of the water in
the tank is higher 60°C. For this reason, before pushing button 4 (TEST),
make sure that the water in the tank is heated enough and that no
quantity has been drained out of it with cold water having been
poured into it before that. The thermostat should be set to the
maximum temperature.
Protection according to the temperature (valid for all models).
4.
The appliance is equipped with a special facility (thermal circuit-
breaker) for protection against over-heating of the water, which
is switching off the heater from the electricity network, when the
temperature reaches too high values.
When this device operates, it does not self-reset and the
appliance will not work. Please call an authorized service for
solving the problem.
VIII.
MODELS EQUIPPED WITH A HEAT EXCHANGER
(SERPENTINE TUBE) - FIG.1D AND TABLE 2.
These are appliances with inbuilt heat exchanger and are intended to
be connected to the heating system with maximum temperature of the
heat carrier of 80°C.
The control over the flow through the heat exchanger is a matter of
solution for the particular installation, whereby the choice should
