Instructions For Use
FITTING TO THE HARNESS
1. Position the DSL2 such that the
Velcro closings are in contact with
the harness web, leaving the
shock absorbing pack outermost
(fi g.1).
2. Check that the User connector is
secured to the harness attachment
prior to any work at height, and
where necessary spanner tightened
(fi g.2).
3. Fit the Velcro closings to the
appropriate section of harness web
to retain the shock absorbing
pack (fi g.3).
4. Ensure that after fi tting the
retractable function of the lanyard
has not been inhibited.
5. The DSL2 is supplied with two
"lanyard parking points", these
should be secured to the harness
webbing in a convenient location
for the connection of the lanyard
anchor hooks when they are not
in use.
NOTE: THE LANYARD CONNECTORS MUST NEVER BE RETAINED ON THE PRIMARY HARNESS
WEBBING STRAPS, ALWAYS USE A SACRIFICIAL LANYARD PARKING POINT.
