RESET-INSTRUCTIONS
When the Water Tank (6) is empty and water in the Heating
Chamber (10) is almost used up, the Heating Element (16) will
automatically shut off. The Reset Light (15) illuminates to indicate
that the Water Tank (6) needs to be refilled. In order to operate the
humidifier again follow these instructions:
• Turn the Power Switch (13) to the off-position ( ) and unplug
the unit.
• Allow the humidifier to cool down for at least 30 minutes.
• Fill the Water Tank (6), and follow the "OPERATING
INSTRUCTIONS".

CLEANING, CARE AND STORAGE
We recommend you clean the humidifier frequently. In order to not
impair the performance of the humidifier, follow the instructions
for Cleaning, Care and Storage.
DISHWASHER SAFE: The medicine cup (1), the chimney (2) and the
removable tray (3-4) are TOP RACK dishwasher safe for dishwashers
operating at temperatures below 70 °C. Run the dishwasher on the
light duty or normal cycle.
Do not wash with soiled articles/dishes. DO NOT USE DETERGENTS.
If you use your dishwasher you will not need to follow the
disinfecting procedure.
Please Note: Do not place parts on lower rack of dishwasher. Doing
so could cause damage to the humidifier parts and dishwasher.
THE MAIN HOUSING AND WATER TANK ARE NOT DISHWASHER
SAFE. Placing these parts in the dishwasher will damage your
humidifier and render it unuseable.
DAILY CLEANING
• Before cleaning, turn the Power Switch (13) to the off-position
( ) and unplug the unit.
• Check that the humidifier has cooled for at least 30 minutes.
• Remove the Water Tank (6) from the Base (11).
• Open the Tank Cap (8) by turning it counter-clockwise and drain
any water from the Water Tank (6).
• Rinse the Water Tank (6) thoroughly with lukewarm water.
• Wipe the outer surfaces of the Water Tank (6) with a clean, damp cloth.
• To operate the humidifier follow the instructions under
"OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS".

WEEKLY CLEANING
• Follow the instructions "DAILY CLEANING, steps 1 – 4".
• With one hand slide the "blue" cooling chamber interlock (12) to
the open position. While holding it in open position, and using
another hand, carefully remove the chimney (2) and removable
tray (3) from the base (11) by gently lifting upwards.
• Clean the Water Tank (6), the Chimney (2), the Removable Tray
(3) and the Heating Chamber (10) with a white vinegar or a mild
detergent. Afterwards thoroughly rinse these parts several times
in lukewarm water. Do not immerse the Base (11) in water.
• Soak heating element (16) for 15-20 minutes then gently scrub
with a soft brush to remove mineral deposits. Rinse until smell of
vinegar is gone.
• To operate the humidifier follow the instructions as described
under "OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS".
DISINFECTING
• Every fortnight, after cleaning, you should additionally disinfect
only these parts of the humidifier: Water Tank (6), Chimney (2),
Removable Tray (4).
• Use a solution of 1 tsp bleach per 4 liters of water and rinse
thoroughly in water after disinfection.
• Dry all inner surfaces with a soft tissue and wipe all outer surfaces
with a soft, dry cloth.
• To operate the humidifier follow the instructions as described
under "OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS".
CARE AND STORAGE
• Follow the "Weekly Cleaning" instructions when the humidifier is
not used for a longer period (one week or more).
• Let the humidifier dry completely.
• Do not store the humidifier with a filled Water Tank (6).
• Store the humidifier in a cool, dry place.
