The unit handles up to 20 extras (charges other than telephone calls). Each extra is
defined by its name and its VAT rate. These charges may be assigned at any time to
the guest extensions, and appear on the bill after the telephone charges.
• Extra:
Internal number of the extra charge (1 to 20).
• Name:
Name of the charge which will appear on the bills.
• VAT:
VAT rate to be applied.
Note:
The amounts charged to the extensions for each extra are entered manually by the
unit´s operator.

4. System Status
Enter the protocol parameters:
1. Speed: Transmission speed of the data between PBX and the unit: 300, 600,
1200, 2400, 4800 or 9600 bauds.
2. Parity: Parity used by the PBX for transmitting and receiving: none, even or
odd.
3. Data Bits: Number of data bits used by the PBX for transmitting and receiving: 7
or 8.
4. Stop Bits: Number of stop bits used by the PBX for transmitting and receiving: 1
or 2.
5. Format: Choose the PBX format using the << and >> keys to display the
format list.
6. Diagnostic: The Diagnostic option includes several modes which enable the
checking of the communication between the unit and the PBX (see
APPENDIX A).
If the PBX has an interactivity protocol, the Booths or Clients extension status may
be modified after the Check-in and Check-out operations.
The default status after a Check-in of the Booths or Clients extensions are
determined by the following parameters.

Locked or unlocked. This is the initial status of an extension after a
check-in operation. Enter the default value for the check-in status.
This parameter only makes sense in the case that the unit is
interactive with the PBX through a V24 port.
Maximum amount authorised by default for each extension. This
limit is generally for indicative purposes only. Exceeding the limit
