Puesta en servicio de una
batería nueva (04_16, 04_17)
CONTROLAR QUE LOS TERMINALES
DE LOS CABLES Y LOS BORNES DE
LA BATERÍA SE ENCUENTREN:
EN BUENAS CONDICIONES (Y NO CO-
RROÍDOS O CUBIERTOS DE DEPÓSI-
TO);
- CUBIERTOS CON GRASA NEUTRA O
CON VASELINA.
ATENCIÓN
PARA VOLVER A MONTARLA, PRIME-
RO SE DEBE CONECTAR EL CABLE
EN EL BORNE POSITIVO (+) Y LUEGO
EL DEL BORNE NEGATIVO (-).
•
Extraer el asiento.
•
Posicionar la batería en su alo-
jamiento.
•
Colocar el cable positivo (6) y fi-
jarlo al borne positivo (+) apre-
tando el tornillo (5).
•
Colocar el cable negativo (4) y
fijarlo al borne negativo (-) apre-
tando el tornillo (3).
•
Colocar la tapa (2) y fijarla con
los dos tornillos (1).

Colocar los fusibles principales,
los fusibles ABS y el tubo de
purga del embrague.

CHECK THAT THE BATTERY LEADS
AND TERMINALS ARE:
- IN GOOD CONDITION (NOT CORRO-
DED OR COVERED BY DEPOSITS);
- COVERED BY NEUTRAL GREASE
OR PETROLEUM JELLY.
CAUTION
UPON REFITTING, CONNECT THE
LEAD TO THE POSITIVE TERMINAL
(+) FIRST AND AFTERWARDS THE
LEAD TO THE NEGATIVE TERMINAL
(-).
•
Remove the saddle.
•
Place the battery in its housing.
•
Fasten the positive cable (6) to
the positive terminal (+), tighten-
ing the screw (5).
•
Fasten the negative cable (4) to
the negative terminal (-), tight-
ening the screw (3).
•
Fit the cover (2) and fasten with
the two screws (1).
•
Fit the main fuse, the ABS fuses
and clutch bleed pipe.
