Follow Care and Maintenance instructions.
Remove moist wood pellets from hopper. Follow Care and Maintenance instructions to
clean out. Replace with dry wood pellets.
Clear fire pot for moist wood pellets. Follow Hopper Priming Procedure.
Check fan. Ensure it is working properly and air intake is not blocked. Follow Care and
Maintenance instructions if dirty.
Attempt cooking at a lower temperature. Grease does have a flash point. Keep the
temperature under 176°C / 350°F when cooking highly greasy food.

SOLUTION
Reconnect the ignition wire to the electrical igniter/valve.
Contact Customer Service for assistance or a replacement part.
Install a new battery.
Check the battery polarity. The negative (-) side of the battery goes in first.
Adjust the electrode.
Check the regulator valve. Check connection for leak.
Grill fatty meats when the grids are cold, and the knobs are on the "LOW" setting.
Move the meats to the warming rack if flare-up continues.
Attempt cooking at a lower temperature. Grease does have a flash point. Keep the
temperature under 176°C / 350°F when cooking highly greasy food.
Do not spray water on gas flames.
Refill the gas tank.
Install the burner correctly.
Check the gas supply hose and make sure there are no leaks and no knots.
Clear ports of any obstructions.
Refill the gas tank.
