Precautions
• Under no circumstances should you change the dosage
of the medication that your doctor has prescribed for you.
Consult your doctor if you have any questions about your
blood pressure.
• If you take any medication, ask your doctor about the
best time for measuring your blood pressure.
• In patients with frequent heart rate irregularities, such as
premature atrial or ventricular contractions or atrial fibril-
lation, the measuring results may be inaccurate. Please
consult your doctor concerning the results.
• Avoid touching the patient while inserting or changing
the batteries.
• Wait 30 to 45 minutes before measuring if you have
recently consumed a drink containing caffeine or have
smoked a cigarette.
• Relax for at least 5 to 10 minutes before each measure-
ment.
EN
• Keep the device out of the reach of infants, children and
pets. The inhalation or swallowing of small parts is dan-
gerous and can be fatal.
• In order to avoid accidental strangulation by the tubing of
the cuff, keep the product away from children.
• During measurement, please ensure that the blood circu-
lation is not hindered.
• If you experience any discomfort during measurement,
such as pain in the arm or other complaints, press the
"START/STOP" button to deflate the cuff. Release the cuff
and remove it from your arm.
• In the rare event of a fault causing the cuff to remain fully
inflated (cuff pressure >300 mmHg) during measure-
ment, open the cuff immediately. Prolonged high pres-
sure applied to the arm may result in an ecchymosis.
