5 Switch Between HD Analog Video Formats

5.2 Connecting the UTC Controller

To connect the UTC controller to a DVR:
1. Connect the male BNC connector on the UTC controller to a vid-
eo input on your DVR.
2. Connect the female BNC connector on the UTC controller to a
single run of RG59 / RG6 coaxial cable. See 3.1 Video Cabling,
page 6 for details on extension cable options.
3. Connect the other end of the BNC connector on the coaxial cable
to the camera's video BNC connector.
