8 Controlling the PTZ Camera with an
Analog DVR (CVBS)
There is no need to run RS485 wiring to control the C346ZC252 PTZ
camera using CVI / TVI / AHD recorders.
If you are connecting the PTZ camera to an analog recorder (CVBS),
you must;
• Run the camera's RS485 cables to the DVR's RS485 ports to con-
trol the PTZ camera.
• Set the PTZ camera to SD (CVBS) format. For details on changing
video format, see 5 Switch Between HD Analog Video Formats,
page 12.
8.1 Connecting the PTZ Camera to an Analog DVR (CVBS)

with an analog recorder (CVBS), followed by complete setup
instructions.
