Any total length (which should be the smallets possible) and any welding current
used, the work clamp cable part should correspond to the maximum current of the
LAF 1251 BR
used to supply the duty cycle of
The thermal welding circuit causes a drop in the voltage which added to the internal
natural drop in the power source itself, reducing the voltage arc and the maximum
current available making the arc unstable.
4.8 Connection of welding devices used in the welding process
To interconnect the Power Source LAF 1251 BR to the wire feeder heads , Tractors for
submerged arc or other devices used for welding, refer to Instruction Manual of each
equipment to be connected and, if necessary, make changes in the connections to
correctly operate the command of LAF 1251 BR, before starting the operation. In case
of doubts contact ESAB Technical Assistance Department (refer to last page of this
manual) or an ESAB Authorised Service.
