CAUTION!
Electric shock can kill! Before making electrical input connections to the power
source,
"Machinery
connections are to be made from a line disconnect switch, place the Switch in the
OFF position and padlock it to prevent inadvertent tripping.
If the connection is made from a Fusebox, remove the corresponding fuses and
padlock the box cover. If It is not possible to use padlock, attach a red tag to the line
disconnect switch (or fuse box) Warning others that the circuit is being worked on.

Primary connection
Power Source LAF 1250 BR is supplied for connection to a 440 V feeding network. In
the feeding voltage is different, primary connections must be changed as indicated in
the electrical diagram. Removal of right side parts provides direct access to terminal
bars of primary connections. Change also the feeding of auxiliary transformer (see
diagrams above).

Ground cable
The ground terminal is connected to the chassi of the power source. It should be
connected to a efficient ground point of the main power installation. DO NOT connect
the ground cable of the input cable to any of the bornes of the ON/OFF switch. This puts
the machine chassi under electric voltage hazard.

Connection of welding and return cable
To guarantee a perfect functioning of the
cable, isolated and with the smallest length possible and compatible with its
applications considered, in a well kept state and firmly fixed to its terminals, also
make sure that the connections in the piece to be weld or in the working station and
in the "Negative" terminal of the set are well fixed.
