Positioning the hood on the oven
ATTENTION!
Hood lifting and fixing operations must
be carried out by at least three people.
The oven on which the machine is to
be installed must be firmly fixed to the
floor and perfectly level.
ATTENTION!
To avoid damaging the hood, do not lift
it by gripping the rear panel
ATTENTION!
Contact
with
(e.g. silicone, adhesives, etc.) without
taking appropriate safety precautions
(e.g. PPE) can involve exposure to
chemical hazards and possible damage
to health. Therefore always refer to the
safety data sheets and labels on the
products used.
The hood must be placed directly over the oven, carry
out fixing as follows:
•
Remove the back panel of the hood ("A" fig. 4).
• Remove the two rear screws fixing the oven cover
("B" fig. 4).
• On the bottom of the hood there are two silicone seals
for the oven flues, to ensure tightness. If they are
missing or damaged, apply heat-resistant self-levelling
gasket silicone on the oven cover, around the outer
edge of the two flues, to ensure perfect tightness. If
necessary, wait about 15 minutes for levelling of the
product (fig. 4).

• Position the filter holder profile provided, choosing the
one most suitable for oven door opening ("E" page 2).
E6.1
Connection with the oven
The hood has specific wiring allowing direct connection
to the oven on which it is installed. In order to use the
hood it must be properly connected to the oven, as
follows:
ATTENTION!
Make sure the hood has been installed
properly and that the oven underneath
is completely off and cold.
• Remove the left side oven panel and access the
technical compartment.
• Secure the relay holder on the oven power supply
Din rail.
• Place the special cable clamp at the hole for the RS-485
(square hole 22.5 mm).
• Check that the relay coil is fed when the oven is turned
on.
• Make sure the fan speed increases when the oven
door is opened.
• Any excess cable and sheath can be secured at the
bottom of the oven.
E6.2
Fitting the nib with double locking
For oven safety, a door double-closing nib is supplied
and which must be installed:
ATTENTION!
Make sure the oven is completely off
and cold.
• Remove the closing nib currently installed on the oven;
• Fit the new nib "F" as shown in the enlarged detail;
• Screw the nib completely, making reference to the
dimensions given in the side and front views of the same;
E7
Water connection
The hood water connection must be made by connecting
the main water supply with special connection to the
Ø3/4'' male pipe on the back of the hood ("CWI" fig. 3).
It is advisable to fit a mechanical filter and shut-off cock
on the line.
The drain connection, on the back of the hood, must be
connected to the special hose fitting. ("D" fig. 3).
If using a rigid pipe for the drain, remove the hose fitting
and connect it to the Ø1/2'' connection.
