6- Oil level warning light
This warning light comes on when the oil level is low. The circuit
of this warning light can be checked according to the following
procedure:
Every time the ignition key is turned to
on; if it does not, call an authorised service centre.

Do not operate the engine until you are sure there is
enough oil in the tank.
Even if the oil level is sufficient, the warning light may
flicker when riding on a slope or during sudden accel-
eration or deceleration; this is not a malfunction.
For information about replenishing, see the instructions on page
20.

CHECKING THE CIRCUIT OF THE OIL LEVEL WARNING LIGHT

check if the light comes
ENGLISH
Turn the main switch to
Shift the gear into neutral.
The oil level warning light goes off.
Start the engine.
The oil level warning light comes on.
Fill the tank with engine oil.
The oil level warning light does not come on.
The oil level and electrical circuit are OK. You can
use your vehicle.
The oil level warning light comes on.
Ask an Authorised MALAGUTI Service Centre to
check the electrical circuit.
