7.4 The chute module

A retro-reflective sensor monitors the fill-levels of the chutes.

The chute module is used to transport or store the
workpieces. The module is suitable for universal use
thanks to its variably adjustable inclination and
height. If the mechanical stopper has been mounted,
5 workpieces fit onto the chute.
Three chute modules are used in the sorting station.
Workpieces arriving on the conveyor module are
stored on the chute module.
