5) Guide the thumb through the thumb opening and fasten the hook-
and-loop closures (see fig. 5).
6) Check the fit of the support and adjust the hook-and-loop closure
at the thumb if necessary (see fig. 6, see fig. 7).
7) Optional: Trim the hook-and-loop closures with scissors (see
fig. 8).
→ The support fits snugly without pinching.
4.3 Removal
1) Open the hook-and-loop closures on the support one after the
other; the hook-and-loop closure for the thumb remains fastened.
2) Remove the support.
5 Cleaning
NOTICE
Use of improper cleaning agents
Damage to the product due to use of improper cleaning agents
► Only clean the product with the approved cleaning agents.
1) Remove the metal splint from the pocket of the support.
2) Fasten all hook-and-loop closures.
3) Recommendation: Use a laundry bag or net.
4) Wash the support in warm water at 40 °C with standard mild
detergent. Do not use fabric softener. Rinse thoroughly.
5) Allow to air dry. Do not expose to direct heat sources (e.g. sun­
light, stove or radiator).
6) Insert the metal splint into the pocket of the support.
6 Disposal
Dispose of the product in accordance with national regulations.
