Electrical Motor Installation (JK-500/700)
All TRAPP multipurpose shredders, single-phase or
three-phase, are assembled with double voltage
motors. They leave factory without electrical
connection to allow the customer to choose the kind
of connection based on the voltage of their property
power source.
To correctly make the connection, see data shown
on the motor plate and the number printed on the
insulation of the wires.
For equipments sold without motor, the choice of
minimum output shall follow the technical data
shown on page 50.
Attention!
Before making any connections, make sure
power source is disconnected.
1. Make sure the power source where he
equipment will be installed is compatible with
the data shown on the motor plate.
2. Disconnect the power source to make motor
connections.
3. Make the connections shown ccording to the
voltage of the power source.
4. Make sure the connections are well insulated.
5. Turn the power on and check the motor
rotation. If necessary, reverse the electrical
connection as indicated on the motor
nameplate so that it works in the correct
direction of rotation.
