Additional Safety and Operation Instructions
Make sure the voltage of the power source is the same
of that of the equipment.
Carefully read instructions and get familiar with the
controls and proper used of the equipment.
Remember that the operator or user is responsible for
any accident or damage involving people or their
properties.
Do not operate the equipment barefooted or with
sandals.
Use the shredder in a flat place and free of obstacles.
Avoid operating the equipment in humid places.
Use the equipment in a well lit environment.
Before feeding any kind of foliage, start the motor and
wait for it to reach maximum revolution.
Do not introduce anything in the equipment with the
motor off.
Do not use the equipment during periods of power
supply failure.
Whenever
you
perform
maintenance, first make sure the motor is
disconnected and the blade is stopped and remove
the power cable from the power take-off or the spark
plug from the gasoline engine.
If the equipment starts to vibrate, turn it off
immediately. Check the cause of the vibration as it
indicates that the equipment needs adjustment and
repair.
Attention!
Frequently check if all screws are well
tightened, mainly the counter cutting blade
one. Always keep the counter cutting blade
adjusted to assure the good performance
of the equipment.
Check the status of the power supply cord.
Never fix it with insulating tape.
Never use a water jet to clean the equipment.
Use a damp cloth and detergent neutral. Water
inside the equipment can damage the electric circuit
of the motor, besides increasing the risk of an electric
shock.

Never operate the equipment with the cover open or
without the belt protection guard.
Clean the cutting assembly at each operation to
avoid material buildup on the disk motor air intakes.
In any abnormal situation during operation, turn off
the machine and contact a TRAPP Technical
Assistant.
Attention!
When the equipment is in operation, do
not put your hand inside of the foliage
funnel, the palm (cacti) supply funnel or in
the lower outlet.
Attention!
Whenever cleaning or servicing, make
sure the equipment is off and the blades
are still as they continue to move for some
seconds.
