BUJÍAS

GLOWPLUG

Use solo bujías para radiocontrol con este motor. Recomendamos el uso de nuestra línea de bujías de alta calidad de platino / iridio (Cód. 35031 - Cod.

35061, disponibles como R3 hasta R6). Compruébela regularmente y no corra si observa que esta dañada o falla al calentarse, podría dañar el motor. Si

encuentra residuos en el filamento de su bujía es que la mezla de nitro es demasiado rica. Esto también reduce la vida útil de la bujía. El filamento debe

de estar brillante como el cromo. Si las bujías se deterioran demasiado rápido, puede colocar una arandela de 0,1mm entre la culata y la bujía. Si tiene

problemas al arrancar el motor y no sabe por que causa es, lo mas probable es que sea la bujía, reemplácela por una nueva.

Consejo: Bajo condiciones normales, utilice una bujía R5 de platino/iridio (Cód. 35051) para el motor Z28R c/tirador. Cuando utilice combustible con alto

contenido en nitrometano o en días con temperatura muy alta, utilice una bujía R6 (Cód. 35061)

Funcionamiento:

Para arrancar el motor necesita una pinza de bujía.

La pinza calienta la bujía y permite que el motor arranque al tirar del arrancador manual.

Tan pronto como el motor haya arrancado debe retirar la pinza de bujía.

Eleccíon de la bujía:

Una mezcla alta de nitro necesita una bujía más fría.

Debe considerar siempre la temperatura ambiente. Cuanto mayor sea la temperatura, más fría deberá ser la bujía.

Cuanto menor sea el motor de explosión, más caliente tendrá que ser la bujía utilizada.

Es necesario cambiar la bujía si:

a) El motor se para cuando acelera.

b) Se aprecia una decoloración en la bujía.

c) El filamento de la bujía está dañado o roto.

Puede comprobar si la bujía funciona sacándola del motor y colocándola en la pinza de bujía. Para ello realice lo siguiente:

Coloque la bujía en la pinza (Coja la bujía con una pinzas o alicates, al ponerla en la pinza de bujía se pone al rojo vivo y podría quemarse)

Si el filamento se pone al rojo vivo, funciona correctamente.

Si no brilla al rojo vivo completamente, el filamento esta dañado y debe reemplazarla.

Si no brilla o solo lo hace una parte del filamento, esta dañada y debe reemplazarla ya que el filamento esta roto.

Compruebe también si la pinza de bujía esta cargada, si no lo esta el filamento de la bujía no brillará.

Use only standard style glow-plugs for this engine. We recommend using our line of high-quality LRP Platinum / Iridium glowplugs (Art.Nr. 35031 – Art.

Nr. 35061, availabe as R3 to R6). Check them frequently and never run with worn-out or old glow-plugs since they could damage your engine. If you

have residues at your glow wire the mix of the nitro is too rich.

That reduces the lifetime of your glow-plug. If your engine is to lean the engine will overheat and destroy the glow plug.

The glow plug wire should stay bright like chrome. If the glowplugs wear out too fast, an additional 0.1mm shim between burnroom and liner is recom-

mended. Whenever you have trouble with the engine stalling for no reason, replace the glow-plug first!

TIP: Under normal conditions, use a LRP Platinum / Iridium R5 (Art.Nr. 35051) plug for the LRP Z.28R Sport Pullstart engine. When using fuel with higher

Nitro content or at very hot days, use a LRP Platinum / Iridium R6 (Art.Nr. 35061) plug..

Function

For starting a nitro engine you need a glow plug igniter.

The igniter is heating the glow plug and the engine can be started with the pull starter.

As soon as the engine is started please remove the igniter.

Choice of the glow plug:

A higher nitro mixture needs a cooler glow plug

The ambient temperature has to be considered aswell. If the air temperature is higher you have to use a cooler glow plug.

A smaller nitro engine needs a warmer glow plug.

It is necessary to change the glow plug if:

a) The engine stops when you accelerate

b) The glow plug is discoloured
