ENGLISH
The power outlet must have an earthing contact
(standard NFC 15100).
The motors are equiped with a internal protection
ipsothermic.
After making the electrical connections, put the cover
back on the terminal box.
6. STARTING UP
6.1. Filling, degassing
Never operate the circulator WITHOUT
CAUTION !
WATER.
- Open the valves on both sides of the circulator and
completely fill the loop.
- Bleed the circuit at the high point.
- If necessary bleed air from the circuit by hand :
unscrew the plug a few turns (See FIG. 5).
- Screw back in when water runs out and there are no
more air bubbles.
8. OPERATING TROUBLE
Switch the circulator OFF before doing any work
on it.
INCIDENT
8.1 THE CIRCULATOR IS
NOISY
8.2 THE CIRCULATOR
FAILS TO START
8.3 THE CIRCULATOR IS
STOPPED
CAUSE
a) The suction pressure is too
low :
b) Air in circuit :
c) Bad speed choice :
d) Foreign bodies in impeller :
a) No power supply to
circulator :
b) The capacitor is defective :
c) The motor is stalled :
a) A fuse is off :
b) Thermic protection is on :
c) Motor is out :
Risks of scald. Pressure be high.
- Power up the motor to start the circulator.
Risk of burning. In operation, the motor casing
may be hotter than 60°C.
6.2. Speed choice
- The circulator flowrate is adjusted by changing the
speed of rotation of the motor using the selector
switch inside the terminal box.
The speed is posted inside the terminal box, and
through display window, When the cover is closed
(See FIG. 3).
7. SERVICING
The circulator needs no special servicing in operation.
The motor bushings are self-lubricating.
After a prolonged shutdown, make sure that the
circulator turns freely.
a) Raise the pressure in the circuit.
b) Check and bleed air in the circuit.
c) Check the operating point and the speed choice , if
necessary, adjust the setting.
d) Remove the motor and clean the impeller.
a) - Check that the motor is connected.
- Check the fuses of the installation.
- Check the main voltage.
b) Replace it : the characteristics are indicated on the rear data
plate (μF).
c) - If the motor is adjusted on an intermediate speed or low
speed, Set the switch selector on speed maxi.
- Free the shaft : remove the black plate (See FIG. 5), remove
the rear plug. Use a flat-bladed screwdriver to turn the motor
shaft. Then reinsert the rear plug.
a) - Check the fuse.
b) - Check the water temperature.
- Check the power supply.
c) Remove and replace it by a motor block of the same type.
