Tighten down the screw (arrow).

Connect the blower tube (4) and

nozzle (5).

Pull the ends of the clamp on the
N
control handle (6) apart and push it
over stub of pleated hose (2).
Attach throttle cable to retainer on
N
the hose clamp (1).
Adjusting the control handle
Put the machine on your back and
N
adjust the harness – see "Fitting the
Harness".

Push the blower tube (4) into the
N
stub of pleated hose (2) as far as
the stop.
Move the control handle (6) along
N
the tube to the most comfortable
position.
Tighten down the screw in the
N
control handle (6).

Adjusting the Throttle Cable

It may be necessary to correct the
adjustment of the throttle cable after
assembling the machine or after a
prolonged period of operation.
Adjust the throttle cable only when the

unit is completely and properly
assembled.
Set throttle trigger to the full throttle
N
position – as far as stop.
Carefully rotate the screw in the
N
throttle trigger in the direction of the
arrow until you feel initial resistance.
Then rotate it another full turn.
