SWITCHING THE BURNER ON AND OFF
The lighting and turning off procedure is as de-
scribed below for both burners.
Lighting
Important
Before use, perform a cooking cycle with-
out food at a temperature between 150-
165°C.
1 - Operate the appliance's master switch to con-
nect it to the electrical mains.
2 - Turn on the gas supply tap.
3 - Turn the knob (A) clockwise (pos. 1) to turn on
the gas supply.
The mains light (B) comes on.
4 - Open the hatch (C).
5 - Press the knob (D) and turn it anti-clockwise
(pos. 3) to light the pilot light.
6 - Keep the knob pressed for about 15 sec. to
prime the thermocouple.
7 - Press the knob (D) and turn it anti-clockwise
(pos. 4) to light the burner.
8 - Close the hatch (C).
Turning off
1 - Open the hatch (C).
2 - Press the knob (D) and turn it anti-clockwise
(pos. 5) to turn off the burner.
The pilot light will remain on to allow the burner
to be re-lit.
3 - Press the knob (D) and turn it clockwise (pos. 6)
to turn off the pilot light.
4 - Close the hatch (C).
5 - Turn the knob (A) anti-clockwise (pos. 2) to turn
off the mains gas supply.
6 - The mains light (E) goes out.
7 - Turn off the gas supply tap.
8 - Cut off the mains electricity supply using the ap-
pliance's master switch.
