PUTTING THE WHEELED TRIMMER INTO SERVICE
1) Check that the wheeled trimmer has not been damaged in transit.
2) Remove the wheeled trimmer from the packaging, paying attention not to damage lever and wires.
Use an appropriate lifting machine (min. lifting capacity 100 kg).
3) Mount front grass baffle (fig. 8, A).
4) Mount the handlebar, adjust its inclination and fix the screws (fig. 2, n. 7)
5) Fill the tank with fuel (fig. 1, n. 5) using a funnel equipped with a very fine filter.
6) Fill the engine with oil: use SAE 30 (API SJ), quantity 0,44 litres.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
STARTING ENGINE
If the engine is cold set the throttle lever at the starter position (fully forward – fig. 2, no. 1). If the
engine is warm, push the throttle lever to the midway position. Then pull hard on the pull starter
handle (fig. 1 no. 3). Let the engine warm up for a couple of minutes before starting work.
STARTING WORK
Bring the engine at max. r.p.m. Make sure there are neither people nor animals around the area to be
cut, press the lever to engage the cutting device (fig. 1, n. 2) and start working.
CAUTION: when the lever is pressed (fig. 1, n. 2) the strings start rotating.
IN CASE OF DANGER IMMEDIATELY RELEASE THIS LEVER, THE CUTTING DEVICE WILL
DISENGAGE IMMEDIATELY.
FINISHING WORK
Once work is ended, switch the engine off by setting the throttle lever back into the STOP position
(fully rearwards – fig. 1, n.1). CAUTION: never leave the machine unguarded or in a place where
children or inexperienced people could have easy access to it. CAUTION: never leave the machine on
slopes.
