PUTTING THE MACHINE INTO SERVICE
1) Check that the machine has not been damaged during transport.
2) Check the engine oil level (fig. 5, B).
3) The all purpose flail is delivered with the handlebar bent over the engine (sickle-bar version). If
the handlebar is to be used with the rotary tiller lift the lever (fig. 2, n. 5) and slowly turn the
handlebar 180°, paying attention not to damage the cables.
4) Insert the throttle wire and the engine switching off wire into the throttle (fig. 2, n. 4).
5) Remove the forward gear/PTO lever cover and connect the forward gear wire to the
corresponding lever (fig. 2, n. 19).
6) Mount the forward gear rod (fig. 2, n. 3).
7) Mount the forward gear complete lever (fig. 2, n. 20).
8) Check the tyre pressure: 1,2 BAR for the drive wheels 16×6.50-8.
9) Fill the tank with fuel using a funnel provided with a fine filter
10) Check the various liquid level with the machine in horizontal position
RUNNING-IN - IMPORTANT!
Drain the engine oil and fill in with fresh one after the first 20 working hours (use SAE30 oil). Check
that there are no oil losses or loose screws, especially those fixing the Y-shaped blades on the
rotor. If necessary adjust the forward gear belt tension (fig. 4, B) and the PTO belt tension (fig. 4,
A).
